I am considering Drupal right now. Wondering if there is a better one. I also want a cms system that also integrates community type things easily like forums and blogs. I have main article pages that I want to be static though. Any suggestions?

I need a CMS system for my website (Content Manager System.) I only need to update 3 areas of the website with a CMS which include pictures & text. I’d like to get a estimate of how much this should cost.
there might be ads later on but right now im just focused on an area where i can type, an area where i can add pictures with hyperlinks and the other area is just an area where i can type text as well. thanks for all the answers.

It was a specific CMS system, not a unit you added onto Joomla or Drupal, and if I remember correctly, it had quite an obscure name (and was free)!
If no-one can recall or knows what it is, could anyone suggest something like Drupal that can be easily adapted for a photographer to use to have portfolios on. I wouldn’t necessarily need to have ecommerce set up, just the facility for someone to select and then have an order emailed to me would be great.
