i have a radeon 9200 and the graphics do not meet the minimum requirement for aero. is there a way i can hack or change a system file info or anything like that, that will enable aero. i have already tried editing the composition files in regedit but that didnt work. please help. thanks.
sorry i just checked and it does the meet the minimum requirements of 128mb graphics

I just want to put in a graphics card and use it to play games like call of duty and stuff.

1.) Graphics cards are the most important thing in a PC for gaming and graphics.

2.) Graphics cards are not the most important thing; it’s all how the developers make the game, and the graphics card is just how the graphics are processed.

Which of these statements is true?

If a graphics card is listed as “obscure graphics card model X1234 256MB”, what does the megabyte amount designate? The info page says “256MB GDDR3 memory”, but what does memory do for a graphics card? Is it similar to RAM? Is a higher memory better or worse?

I mean, there is a way to see what Windows you are running, by typing a command into the “Run” application. I was wondering if there is something similar you can do to find out what your video/graphics card/s you have? And, once I find this out, where can I get (if any) free updated drivers for it/them?

I bought a laptop recently and i believe it has 883 mb of my 2gigs of ram allocated to the 8400gs graphics card. It has 128mb of dedicated memory and therefore i want it to run off that alone. How do i reduce the allowance of memory for the card?

Also, because it has 883 mb allocated, does that mean im running vista on just 1 gig?
