What you mean is: if you can disregard using the technology which is crossfire… will it still work on the crossfire-no-ready motherboard… i think it will work. but I’m not sure better check this website =>
Yes, you can use it as a standalone single graphics card. The “Crossfire-ready” simply means you have the added option of running two of those cards on a Crossfire-ready motherboard to increase graphics performance.
