Right click the desktop the click properties. Click the settings tab, then down towards the bottom there is the advanced button, click that. that is where you can usually set your memory allowance and stuff.

well it’s unusual for any on board video to use that much ram but to find out how much is being used restart the laptop @ the setup flash screen press the key requested to enter setup.

Look under the integrated peripherals and see actually how much ram is being used by the on board graphics. I’m all most positive the max for onboards settings is 256 mb.

So you may want to look towards running apps as the source of your memory woes
